Board adopts final 2017-18 budget

On May 22, 2017, the Board of School Directors of Cumberland Valley School District adopted the general fund budget as proposed for the 2017-18 school year. The general fund budget includes total revenues of $129,260,710 and total expenditures of $129,260,710 with real estate tax mills to be set at 9.516 mills (being $9.516 per thousand dollars of assessed valuation).

The real estate tax millage is a 2.5% increase, or $23.30, on a property with an assessed value of $100,000. The annual real estate tax increase on the average residential property valued at $241,000 will be $55.91.

The tentative budget was approved in April prior to final adoption on May 22, 2017.
