Board approves tentative 2016-17 budget

Cumberland Valley School District’s Board of School Directors approved a tentative budget that continues to place a focus on quality programming while addressing growing enrollment needs throughout the district.
The tentative $122,668,187 budget includes a 2.4% millage increase, for a total 2016-17 millage rate of 9.284. The tentative budget represents an increase of $54.40 for a property with an average assessed value of $250,000.
Budget discussions will continue in May and the Board is tentatively set to vote on formal adoption at the June 6 meeting.
