🚌 DRIVEN TO GREATNESS: Today, we celebrate our incredible bus and van drivers who keep our school days rolling smoothly and safely! From sunrise pick-ups to afternoon drop-offs, they go the extra mile (literally!) with care, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to our students’ safety.

🏅 A GOLD MEDAL-WORTHY DAY: Our hearts are full after an incredible 3rd Annual CV Special Olympics event! With over 240 student-athletes, 340+ high school volunteers, and 150+ staff and volunteers, our stadium was overflowing with high fives, big smiles, and unforgettable moments of joy, teamwork, and Eagle pride. ❤️
A HUGE thank you to our amazing CV community—including food services, IT, transportation, nursing, facilities, administration, security, families, volunteers, the Eagle Foundation, and our dedicated Special Education staff—for making this day such a success.
Special shout-out to our fantastic Special Olympics Committee and the amazing Ms. Allison Bozis, who works behind the scenes to make it all happen—matching buddies, coordinating volunteers, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork. And the excitement doesn’t stop here! Most of our student-athletes will be competing in the Area M Games this Wednesday at Bishop McDevitt High School—let’s keep the celebration going. 🙌

😎 OPENING CEREMONY: CV’s 3rd annual Special Olympics kicked off this morning with big smiles, loud cheers, and tons of excitement! Our student-athletes paraded in proudly, followed by the Presentation of Colors from CV’s JROTC and a beautiful National Anthem sung by Penny Shaw (Eagle View), with Ceci H. (Middlesex)—who loves the anthem—standing proudly by her side.
Carissa L. (CVHS) led the Special Olympics Oath, and Dr. Blanchard officially opened the games! 🏅 Shout out to Messiah A. (Winding Creek) for the winning t-shirt design 👕
