As always, we will still be accepting cash or checks for school meals but are encouraging families to put money on your students lunch account by going to

  • www.schoolcafe.com - the district's online payment provider (see below for more information).
  • Check payable to CV School Lunch Account (please include student ID number on check).
  • Cash for day-of meals.

There are NO credit card sales accepted in the cafeteria. Also, due to COVID 19 we will no longer be giving any change back to students or staff. Any money that is given over the cost of the meal will automatically be deposited onto the students or staff person's food service account. This will ensure there is no contact between the cashier and the customer.

By setting up a user account, parents and staff can deposit money online, view account balances, set up email notifications when your student's balance is getting low and track cafeteria purchases. Meal payments are made by using a credit/debit card or e-check and you may prepay a sum of money to your account at any time.  In addition, you will receive a “low balance” notification if that is turned on.

Additional information:

New this year all pin pads have been replaced with scanners. Students will have bar codes to use in the cafeteria ensuring a touchless transaction. 
 
Any unused prepaid amounts at the end of the school year will carry over to the next school year.  Students leaving the district may request a refund of remaining balances.  Refunds over the amount of $5.00 will need to complete the attached form: Student Refund Voucher. Please make sure that the automatic prepayment is turned off in schoolcafe. Refund amounts under $5.00 may be given at the school cafeteria's.

When a student does not have lunch money parents will be informed that their student did not have lunch money.  The funds will need to be paid back the next day. 

Return check policy:

Returned Check Policy: There will be a $20.00 service fee for any returned check from your bank. Should we receive a returned check from your bank, we will no longer accept checks in payment for lunch in the current school year.
