Congratulations to our Varsity Cheerleaders on claiming their 7th Pennsylvania State Championship last Friday at the 2025 PIAA Competitive Spirit State Championships! This year’s competition took place at a new venue, with our squad entering a new division and competing in three rounds. Despite all these changes, our Varsity Cheerleaders remained unstoppable. They earned an impressive final score of 90.43 in the last round, surpassing 2nd place Haverford by 2.26 points, and posting the highest score of any team in the finals.
The PIAA has hosted the Competitive Spirit Championships since 2013, and since then, CV has been crowned State Champions in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2020, 2024, and now again in 2025. Congratulations to our back-to-back State Champions—we are #CVProud of you!
