Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment

Welcome to Cumberland Valley School District's Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment department, where our primary responsibility is to shape and refine the educational experience. We focus on three key areas: developing and updating curriculum, offering instructional support to teachers, and overseeing assessments.

Our department ensures that curriculum materials are both aligned K-12 and are in line with educational standards while also providing teachers with the tools they need to excel in the classroom. We design assessments that accurately measure student progress, ensuring that our educational efforts are effective.

In addition to our core functions, we collaborate closely with other departments within the school district. By working alongside special education services, English language learner programs, and other student support services, we strive to create an environment where every student can thrive. Our goal is to promote inclusivity and equity throughout the educational journey.
