Good Evening Middlesex Families,

Good times...
We had a great week here at Middlesex! On Thursday, students, staff, and families enjoyed a delicious holiday meal prepared by our wonderful kitchen staff. Thank you to the district administration personnel and staff members for volunteering to help serve this meal to students. We couldn't have done it without them as part of the team!! A HUGE thank you goes out to the Middlesex PTO and parent volunteers for organizing and running our Holiday Shoppe and Book Fair. The turnout of families was amazing; so glad that everyone was able to get in the holiday spirit and enjoy the evening! 

Cold weather is here....
As the cold weather is upon us, it is so important that students come to school with a coat or jacket daily. Students are sent outside for recess unless the real feel temperature is below 17 degrees. If the weather is below 45 degrees, students will be expected to wear a coat or jacket outside and keep it on once they are outside. If your child doesn't come to school with a coat, they will be sent into the nurse's office to get one. If your child doesn't have a coat at home to wear to school please let the office staff know. If your child is one that frequently gets sent to the office because they don't have a coat, we will be reaching out to you to further discuss.

We want to extend a big thank you to our building secretary, Andrea Wandling, for her dedication to Middlesex students, staff, and families throughout the years! Today was her last day and she will be sincerely missed, but we send her well wishes on her new job endeavor! She has left some big shoes to fill, but we are confident that we will find the best candidate for the job!!
