CV Eaglet Learning Center Interest Form

Please use this form to indicate your interest in the CV Eaglet Learning Center Program.

The CV Eaglet Learning Center is a preschool program run by the Family and Consumer Sciences Department at Cumberland Valley High School.  Students in ninth to twelfth grades elect to take the preschool lab experience.  The high school students work hands-on with the preschool children in the program.  The high school students are responsible to plan and implement activities for the preschool children.  A family and consumer sciences teacher is present during the entire program.  Each day the preschoolers will have a story, arts and crafts, snack, gross motor, music, and alphabet and number time.  There will be special days when nutrition, math, science, and social studies, will be covered in place of a few of the activities.

The preschool children are potty trained three, four, and five year olds from the community.  Parents will have to arrange transportation for their child.  There is no transportation to the school available.  People interested should contact for questions or more information.  We will be having two sessions this year.  A morning session running from 8:50 am to 11:00 am and an afternoon session running from 12:05 pm to 2:10 pm.  We accept the children on a first come first serve basis.  Once you receive your application, you want to get it in quickly for your child to be accepted into the program.  The sessions will start at the beginning of March and run to the end of May.  There is a $75 fee for the entire length of the program.  Specific dates are in the application.  To request an application to be sent to your home, please go to the following link. The applications will be sent out at the beginning of February.
