  • 1st ¶ = what your topic will be
  • 2nd ¶ = how you plan to complete your project, and which type you'll do
  • 3rd ¶ = how you will divide up tasks, such as research, and so on. Be specific! (individuals: this should only be 1 sentence)
  • 4th ¶ = questions, comments, and concerns for your NHD teacher (can be as many or few sentences as needed)

Draft Annotated Bibliography with at least 5 sources (at least 2 primary sources) due –at least 33% of the sources must be books

Draft Outline of Project due – should address the following questions in bulleted form:

  • How will your project look? Be specific!
  • Which past winning NHD project inspired you?
  • Who is responsible for what in your project? Break it down by person and task!
  • What did you learn while researching?
  • How can your NHD teacher help you?
  • Address the criteria–based question for your project type below:
    • Paper, performance, or presentation only – how will your project begin, move through points of emphasis, and conclude?
    • Website only – what will your homepage look like? What tabs will you have?
    • Exhibit only – how will your project be assembled? What items do you need? Drawings are encouraged.

 Begin building your project – send your teacher a photo of 3 things you have accomplished (or bring it in)
